Ambassador Philip Reeker takes the lead U.S. negotiator role in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken appointed Ambassador Philip Reeker as Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations last week. Ambassador Reeker has served in the Department of State since 2008, and he has represented the U.S. throughout Europe. Ambassador Reeker will immediately begin participation in Geneva International Discussions as the United States’ lead negotiator.
“The United States is committed to helping Armenia and Azerbaijan negotiate a long-term political settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” Secretary Blinken Stated. “Ambassador Reeker will engage bilaterally, with like-minded partners such as the European Union, and through his role as an OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair, to facilitate direct dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary of State Blinken as he appoints officials to roles within the State Department.
- For wisdom for Ambassador Reeker as he represents the U.S. in negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
